How to apply?

    Submit your application

    Create your applicant profile with your basic details and verify your email address or mobile number. Once verified, you’ll receive secure access to the online application form.

    Tell us about yourself

    Complete your academic and professional profile, including your education, relevant experience, achievements and supporting certificates. You may also be asked to share a portfolio, demo reel or links to your creative work.

  3. 03

    Complete your scholarship details

    Submit the information and documents required to assess your scholarship eligibility. Final eligibility criteria and documentation requirements will be communicated as part of the application process.

  4. 04

    Choose your programme

    Select the programmes you wish to apply for, subject to the final application rules. Each programme has its own eligibility and submission requirements.

  5. 05

    Complete the programme assessment

    For each selected programme, you may be required to complete a programme-specific questionnaire and project or assignment. The current framework provides for a 48-hour submission window once the assessment begins, subject to final academic approval.

How will the scholars Be selected?

A merit-led selection process designed to understand your skills, craft and creative potential.

  1. Stage01

    Application & Eligibility Review

    Your completed application is reviewed for academic requirements, scholarship eligibility and programme-specific submissions.

    Only eligible and complete programme applications move forward.

  2. Stage02

    Online MCQ

    Eligible candidates are invited to undertake an online multiple-choice assessment.

    Performance in this stage contributes to the shortlist for the next round.

  3. Stage03

    Portfolio / Course Assessment

    Shortlisted candidates move to a programme-specific evaluation.

    Depending on the programme, this may include a portfolio review and/or a course-specific assessment, conducted online or on-site.

  4. Stage04

    Personal Interview

    Selected candidates are invited for a personal interview with the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies faculty and an Indian Institute of Creative Technologies–Netflix Scholarship Panel member, based on approved evaluation criteria.

  5. Stage05

    Final Selection & Scholarship Offer

    Scores from the approved stages are combined to determine the final ranking and admission decision.

    Candidates may receive a scholarship offer, waitlist status or an unsuccessful application notification.

01 What is the Netflix - Indian Institute of Creative Technologies Scholarship Programme?

As part of the Netflix India Storytelling Initiative, scholarships are being offered to Indian students towards eligible in-person programmes at Indian Institute of Creative Technologies.

02 Who is eligible to apply?

Eligibility varies by programme and depends on the academic qualifications, prerequisites and requirements of the programme you choose.

03 Which programmes are covered under the scholarship?

The scholarship spans six Indian Institute of Creative Technologies programmes across Interactive Comics, VFX, Virtual Art Department, Media Tech Workflow, Character Animation and E-Sports & Gaming Management.

04 What is the selection process?

The current framework follows five stages: Application & Eligibility Review, Online MCQ, Portfolio / Course Assessment, Personal Interview, and Final Selection & Scholarship Offer.

05 What does the scholarship cover?

The final scholarship coverage, tiers and applicable conditions are still subject to formal approval and will be communicated before final selection.

06 Does receiving the scholarship guarantee a job or internship with Netflix?

No. The scholarship supports learning at Indian Institute of Creative Technologies and does not guarantee employment, internship or placement with Netflix.
