The purpose of these scholarships is simple: to give emerging creative talent greater access to specialised, industry-relevant learning across India’s growing AVGC-XR ecosystem.

Your application
Build your profile, select your programme and complete the programme-specific requirements.
Create your applicant profile with your basic details and verify your email address or mobile number. Once verified, you’ll receive secure access to the online application form.
Complete your academic and professional profile, including your education, relevant experience, achievements and any supporting certificates. You may also be asked to share a portfolio, demo reel or links to your creative work.
Submit the information and documents required to assess your scholarship eligibility. Final eligibility criteria and documentation requirements will be communicated as part of the application process.
Select the programme or programmes you wish to apply for, subject to the final application rules. Each programme may have its own eligibility and submission requirements.
For each selected programme, you may be required to complete a programme-specific questionnaire and project or assignment. The current framework provides for a 48-hour submission window once the assessment begins, subject to final academic approval.

A merit-led selection process designed to understand your skills, craft and creative potential.
Your completed application is reviewed for academic requirements, scholarship eligibility and programme-specific submissions.
Only eligible and complete programme applications move forward.
Eligible candidates are invited to an online multiple-choice assessment.
Performance in this stage contributes to the shortlist for the next round.
Shortlisted candidates move to a programme-specific evaluation.
Depending on the programme, this may include a portfolio review and/or a course-specific assessment, conducted online or on-site.
Selected candidates are invited for a personal interview with IICT faculty and an IICT–Netflix Scholarship Panel member, based on approved evaluation criteria.
Scores from the approved stages are combined to determine the final ranking and admission decision.

As part of the Netflix India Storytelling Initiative, 100 scholarships are being offered to Indian students towards eligible in-person programmes at IICT.
Eligibility varies by programme and depends on the academic qualifications, prerequisites and requirements of the programme you choose.
The scholarship spans six IICT programmes across Interactive Comics, VFX, Virtual Art Department, Media Tech Workflow, Character Animation and E-Sports & Gaming Management.
The current framework follows five stages: Application & Eligibility Review, Online MCQ, Portfolio / Course Assessment, Personal Interview, and Final Selection & Scholarship Offer.
The final scholarship coverage, tiers and applicable conditions are still subject to formal approval and will be communicated before final selection.
